The End of a Drought

A little over two weeks ago was the first Sunday of the month. Now to us LDS folk, that means fast Sunday. We did a state-wide fast to help with the economic issues and the drought. That day, in the middle of Sacrament Meeting, it started to snow. It had snowed a little bit before, but now it was collecting on the ground. By that night we had a good few inches of snow. School was canceled the next day and we went sledding and quading. The funny part is that we ask for the end of the drought, and so we get enough snow that you'd have no hopes of getting anywhere without all wheel drive. Now, two weeks later, roads are finally clear and we have about an inch of packed down snow and some ice because we had freezing rain yesterday.
Christmas is in a a little over 24 hours and everyone here is pumped. We just went Christmas shopping for each other and now we are wrapping them. Unfortunately, with the snow, my dad never got a chance to put Christmas lights on our roof. We plan on spending a lot of time with our cousins the next few days. It's going to be great.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
