A Beast of a Backyard

If there are any out there that may still occasionally check my blog, then I give you two thumbs up. My blog has been neglected for several months now, and so I decided that now was the time to update it. There are many things I have experienced over the past few months so I'll try to some it up.
First, I'll start with Christmas. This Christmas was particularly special because one, I got a cell phone and two, this Christmas was the very first Christmas that we have spent with my exteneded family in over 8 years.
Second, on my birthday, we went on the Klondike. For those of you who don't know, the Klondike is pretty much a scouting competition campout that takes place in snow... so it was cold. Anyway, my ward was split up between 3 troops so we took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
There weren't many more important events, but life has been going smoothly. One thing I would like to mention is my beast of a backyard. It's about 3/4 of a football field long and a hill taller than our house. So far I've made a grassy patch from leftover sod from the front yard by the back door, an awesome bike track with woops, jumps, berms, the whole thing, and a ditch suitable for several people and even has a firepit and a chimney. Maybe someday I'll post pictures.
But for now, farewell fellow blog readers.

Well then, good to know. I don't really except many readers, but the readers I do get are welcome. I am considering giving my blog a "make-over". Maybe even tonight...we'll see.
